Back to School Shoe Shopping at Stride Rite® – Lewisville
Having a Stride Rite store close by makes me happy. For as long as I can remember, I’ve shopped at Stride Rite to find the perfect pair of shoes, whether it be shoes for learning to walk or dress shoes for an important function, Stride Rite has always been our go-to shoe store. As a child, my own favorite sneaker was a pair of the all-white shoe, with the blue Keds label on the back, which of course, were also purchased at Stride Rite. I continue to trust Stride Rite with all my families shoe needs, and that’s especially important at back-to-school time.
When the opportunity arose for me to shop at our local Stride Rite® for back to school shoes, I knew that my family would find brands that would be comfortable, stylish, and affordable. Upon our arrival to the Stride Rite® Lewisville store, the store's owner, Laurie, greeted my family and I with a huge smile and a tour around the store. It didn't take long before my two were deep into the pretend toys that embellish the store's fun décor.
Laurie explained to us the importance of measuring both feet since they are probably different sizes. True enough, for both kids, each foot was at least a ½ size larger, which is quite common.
For our little girl, Kennadi, who will be venturing off to preschool this year, there were many options to choose from at Stride Rite in Lewisville®. The colorful and playful options will keep her comfortable and stylish through the school day. One of my personal favorite shoe brands for girls is and has always been Keds®. Keds® is fueled by a passion for imagination, that inspires our girls to be authentic, confident, and to pursue their dreams.
The Saucony® brand is designed for the active kid and their growing feet. With so many colors to choose from, Saucony® definitely exists for the little ones that are on the go and love an array of colors that perfectly fit their personalities. For Kennadi, her favorite shoes were the rose gold Keds® Kickstart Core Jr. Sneaker and the Saucony® purple and turquoise Ride 10 Jr. Sneaker.
My nephew, Jeramiah, chose the popular Sperry® Top-Sider Gamefish Boat Shoe in both dark tan and navy. He loves a great sneaker but preferred a more casual shoe style this time. These boat shoes would provide him with a good fit and a good look for the upcoming school year.

As a mom and an aunt, those are important attributes for helping me make the best decisions in choosing shoes for my family. For the kids, the toy store and play area made them happy!
