π°π°π° 5 Super Easy Kid-Approved Easter Crafts π°π°π°
1. 5 Minute DIY Easter Bunny Decoration:
You will need:
- Paper Mache Bunny
- Colored Burlap Scrapbook Paper
- White Glue
- 5/8″ lace ribbon and satin ribbon
- Pencil
- Scissors
Directions:
- Place your bunny onto the back of a piece of the burlap paper.
- Use a pen to trace the bunny on the paper.
- Cut the bunny out with scissors. Trim just inside the line you drew so it fits perfectly.
- Attach the bunny cutout to the paper mache bunny with white.
- Tie a lace or satin ribbon around the bunny.
2. Easter Bunny Popsicle Stick Craft
You will need:
- Jumbo popsicle sticks
- White craft paint
- Light pink felt
- Pink buttons
- Foam paint brush
- Googly eyes
- Scissors (to be used by an adult)
- Hot glue gun/hot glue (to be used by an adult), you can use Elmer’s glue instead
Directions:
- Lay out an old newspaper or scrap paper, let your kiddos paint the craft sticks white, and let dry.
- Glue the 3 white craft sticks together in a triangle shape
- Glue the triangle onto a piece of pink felt and trim off any excess from the sides.
- Hot glue two googly eyes onto the center of your pink triangle with a point of the triangle facing down.
- Now cut three pipe cleaners 3″ long and glue them to the bottom of the triangle in a criss cross pattern for the whiskers.
- Then hot glue a pink button onto the center of the pipe cleaners for a nose.
- Cut a pipe cleaner in half, twist the bottom of each piece so the top stays rounded, and hot glue the ends to the back of the bunnies head. Repeat so you have two bunny ears.
3. Yarn Easter Eggs Craft
You will need:
- Multi colored yarn
- Cardboard
- Hot glue/hot glue gun (to be used by an adult)
- Scissors (to be used by an adult)
- Marker
Directions:
- Draw an egg shape onto your cardboard at least 4″ tall and cut it out with scissors.
- Hot glue the end of your yarn onto one side of your cardboard egg and begin wrapping your yarn around the egg in every which direction. Let the kiddos continue.
- Once the cardboard has been completely covered, cut the end of the yarn, and carefully hot glue it to the back.
- Make a few more.
Note: These are great to add to an Easter basket or party/home decorations or even hang in an Easter Tree .
4. Easter Baby Chick Popsicle Stick Craft
You will need:
- Jumbo popsicle sticks
- Yellow craft paint
- Yellow fleece or felt
- Yellow feathers
- Orange card stock
- Foam paint brush
- Googly eyes
- Scissors (to be used by an adult)
- Hot glue gun/hot glue (to be used by an adult)
Directions:
- Lay out an old newspaper or scrap paper, let the kiddos paint the craft sticks yellow, and let dry.
- Glue 3 craft sticks together in a triangle shape.
- Glue your triangle onto a piece of yellow fleece and trim off any excess from the sides.
- Hot glue one googly eye on each side of the craft stick triangle towards the top.
- Cut a diamond shape from your orange paper, fold in half, and hot glue the back to the middle of the fleece with the point facing down.
- Then glue 3 feathers onto the top of the triangle and you’ve got yourself a little baby chick
5. Bottle Cap Easter Baby Chicks Craft
You will need:
- Lid from any sized jar or container
- Yellow tissue paper squares
- Orange card stock
- Googly eyes
- Orange pipe cleaners
- Scissors (to be used by an adult)
- Hot glue/hot glue gun (to be used by an adult)
Directions:
- Wash and dry your lids.
- Carefully hot glue your tissue paper squares onto the top of your lid, overlapping if you can still see the lid through the paper.
- Cut out small diamonds from your orange card stock, fold them in half vertically, and hot glue to the center of your paper covered lids for your chick’s beak.
- Then glue 2 googly eyes above each beak.
- Cut two 4″ and two 1″ pieces off your orange pipe cleaner, wrap the 1″ pieces around the bottom of your 4″ pieces making 2 legs/feet for each chick.
- Twist the tops of the pipe cleaner legs together and hot glue to the back bottom of the lids.
- Turn your lids back to the front and you’ve got some cute Bottle Cap Chicks.
